Rob Tengler is a native of Colorado and lives in Longmont with his wife and daughter. Having grown up in the mountains of the western slope and living in several front range cities, Rob has called the neighborhood of Prospect his home for over ten years. His passion for travel and outdoor adventure provides the inspiration for his oil paintings.. In particular, themes of Ireland and the stark stone-like qualities from that region can be found in his paintings. Rob has walked across Ireland following the general path of St. Patrick in his escape from slavery on the North East coast. As an emerging artist, he continues to explore different styles in his painting; however, both fauvism and impressionism influence his bold images in oil.
